Job Description:

We are looking for freshers for the role of Business Analytics Reporting / ETL developer who will be part of end-to-end BI projects all the way from data consolidation, data modeling, reporting, and visualization development. This is an entry-level position post 4 months training for fresher, he/she would be exposed to multiple roles which involve client interaction and assisting leads in meeting client requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support in data analytics and BI deployments
• Documentation on specifications, data validation and quality checks
• Develop scripts for extraction, transformation and loading.
• Testing and validating against the requirement and source data
• Design and development of dashboards
• Publishing and scheduling of business and operational reports

Skills and Requirements:

• Must commit to staying with the company for minimum of 2 years post the training period. Please do not apply to this position if you cannot commit to this.
• Basic knowledge on databases and SQL is must.
• Good written and excellent oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills that will enable successful relationships with clients who are most often in remote sites.
• Attention to detail, well organized, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, on time, every time.
• Very prompt and takes initiative towards his/her respective tasks and take ownership of a specific area of work

Job Location: Visakhapatnam

Experience:  6 to 8 years in relevant area

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading using industry-leading tools and frameworks.
• Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into ETL solutions.
• Lead the logical data modeldesign and implementation and the construction and implementation of operational data stores and data marts.
• Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes
• Optimize and tune ETL processes for improved performance and scalability.
• Create and maintain documentation related to ETL processes, data flows, and data mappings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integrity, data quality, and ETL processes.
• Ensure compliance with best practices, policies, and standards for data governance and security.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in ETL development and data integration roles.
• Proficiency with ETL tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), IBM DataStage, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Strong SQL skills with experience in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or similar.
• Deep understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, etc.) and data warehousing concepts.
• Familiarity with data modelling techniques and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to quickly learn new data tools.

• Develop, design, and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Power BI solutions.
• Interact with clients over calls to understand and implement their requirements.
• Implement data modeling best practices to ensure optimal performance and scalability of Power BI solutions.
• Create and optimize DAX queries to extract and manipulate data from various sources, including relational databases, data warehouses, and APIs.
• Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of Power BI solutions to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Develop Paginated reports
• Work on relational modules.
• Work closely with data engineers and business analysts to integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI for comprehensive analysis.
• Maintain documentation of Power BI solutions, including data models, report specifications, and user guides.

Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in developing Power BI solutions, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard design.
• Expertise in writing MS SQL queries.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• SQL competence and a grasp of database structure are required.
• Knowledge of different MS SQL data storage techniques.
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data structures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication is a must.
• Prior experience in client interaction is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
